Very Convenient and Fast

I originally didn't buy or register for a sterilizer, but after having to boil bottles the old fashioned way at least twice a day, I started to wonder if there was an easier way of cleaning my daughter's bottles (we simply don't run our dishwasher that often, plus I wasn't keen on the possible detergent build up that might have occurred). I discovered this system by searching on Amazon and immediately purchased it. With the two bonus bottles, this has definitely paid off during the first week of usage. It is easy and makes sterilizing a snap. I can have a whole set of bottles cleaned and ready to go within ten minutes (seven minutes to sterilize and another three for cool down time) I even throw her pacifiers into it.

Definitely something to consider when purchasing the Avent bottles.

Quick, cheap, and durable

If you want to sterilize bottles and pacifiers this is the product to have. It is very quick - 5 minutes in our microwave and you are done. Yes, you can put these items in the dishwasher but I hate to run the DW for just a load of bottles. You also need to have a special basket to keep the various bottle parts from falling to the bottom of the dishwasher.

Yes, there is condensation, but we keep a bottle rack next to the sink and let them air dry for a few hours. If you hand washed you would also have to let them air dry so I really don't see the point of this complaint.

Avent is very durable - we have had ours over 3 years now and have been doing bottles daily and it has not cracked or broken. Child #3 is on the way so we will be using it for at least another two years.

Convenient but lots of condensation

I use a lot of the Avent products and bought the sterilizer to ease the pain of having to boil all my bottles. It doesn't take that long to sterilize...just 5 minutes in the microwave. That's the great part about it. Washing them takes 5 minutes, sterilizing takes 5 minutes and there you go---4 bottles ready!

The only thing I didn't like about it was the condensation like the other reviews noted. There is nothing you can do about the condensation. The drying rack takes forever too so we just wipe them clean with a freshly laundered burp cloth.

I rate this product 3 stars for its convenience and problem areas.
