ILL TELL YA SOMETIMES YOUR BETTER OFF WIND THE OLD FASHION MOBILES LIKE THE KOALA MOBILE THAT YOU TURN FOR MUSIC ITS GREAT, BUY IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT, BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YA, IM VERY PICKY MYSELF. |
| Big Little Mobile - |  | Love everything about this mobile EXCEPT.... | | I love everything about this mobile...the colors, the animals, the music...BUT I don't love the way it attaches to the crib. As a first-time mom to be, I didn't even think about how a mobile would attach to a crib. We bought a crib that has a closed back (no open slats) and the top of it is probably 2" wide. The sides of the crib have open slats, but again, the top pieces of the sides are probably 2" wide. The only place this mobile fits on my crib (due to the way it is made to attach to the crib) is the narrow (no more than 1") front piece that you raise and lower to get the baby out. Not very practical to have a mobile hanging in your way every time you need to raise or lower the front part of your crib. I had already bought all of the bedding and decorated the nursery in this theme, so it was only natural to get the matching mobile. But unless you have a crib that has narrow sides all the way around, make sure this mobile will fit before settling on it! I am so bummed! |
